NOTE
No previous entrepreneurship experience needed.
We will host two workshops prior to the main event (Tuesday 6:30 - 7:30 PM Weeks 6 and 8) in ideation, market research, customer discovery, pitching, and more. Teams can brainstorm and deliberate ideas/designs to address unmet clinical needs.
Although these events are typically exclusive to BMES project members, we are opening these two project workshops up to anyone who has RSVP'd for the MedTech Pitch Competition and paid their fees.
WORKSHOP 1 - MedTech Pitch Competition Kickoff event (02/13/24)
We will introduce the event and help participants formulate new ideas through different ideation and research exercises. For the next two weeks participants will work on developing their own medical device ideas.
WORKSHOP 2 - Preparation workshop (02/27/24)
We will set expectations for the event and discuss how to construct a pitch deck. Consultations for teams will be available during this event to help validate ideas.
